This Grid-Tie 5 kW Inverter from SolarEdge shows record-breaking efficiency of 99% and is a great choice for a residential solar system. The inverter can be managed remotely via your smartphone with a SolarEdge SetApp.

The inverter is designed to work well with solar optimizers if you decide to add those for better shading tolerance of a system. It follows all the rules of safety protocols with a rapid shutdown and integrated arc fault protection. The inverter has a built-in monitoring system which monitors the system's energy production making it easier for an owner to watch the performance of the installation.

The model itself is very small and lightweight and can be installed indoors or outdoors. Standard warranty is issued for 12 years, but can be extended for up to 25 years.
