Motorhome batteries
When you are out on the open road in your motorhome, there is nothing more frustrating than not having power. One of the key things that you need to make sure is working properly before you hit the road is your battery. But with all of the different types of batteries on the market, which one should you choose for your motorhome? There are all sorts of batteries on the market these days, and it can be hard to determine which one will work best in your motorhome.
When choosing the battery for your motorhome, you should primarily consider the planned use of your motorhome. The required capacity of the battery depends on this. This ranges from 80 Ah for sporadic camping and weekend trips for the most important consumers such as lights, refrigerators and charging options for personal technical devices. Plan with over 150 Ah for longer road trips and mostly self-sufficient camping. You need up to around 230 Ah for self-sufficient standing and road trips over a longer period of time, including intensive work on devices such as laptops.
