Can I extend my warranty?
Yes. You can now purchase an Extended Warranty, it extends the standard manufacturer's warranty after it expires. Our Extended Warranty can be purchased on selected products only. This is reflected on the product page. If it’s not visible on the product page, the extended warranty is not applicable for that.
The Extended Warranty is only an extension of the manufacturer’s warranty period and it’s non-refundable once purchased. Not applicable to B2B customers.
Warranty & Extended Warranty Claims
Consumer claims
As a consumer, you are asked to check the item immediately upon delivery for completeness, obvious defects, and transport damage and to notify us and the freight forwarder of any issues within 24 hours.
Failure to do so will not affect your statutory warranty and extended warranty claims.
Business claims
Please note, the Extended Warranty is NOT applicable to business customers.

Insofar as you are an entrepreneur, the following applies by way of derogation from the above warranty regulations:
a) Only our own information and the manufacturer's product description shall be deemed to have been agreed upon, but not other advertising, public advertisements, and statements by the manufacturer.
b) In the event of defects, we shall, at our option, provide warranty by rectification or subsequent delivery. If the defect rectification fails, you can demand a reduction at your choice or withdraw from the contract. The rectification of defects shall be deemed to have failed after an unsuccessful second attempt, unless otherwise stated, in particular, by the nature of the item or the defect or the other circumstances. In the case of rectification, we do not have to bear the increased costs incurred by moving the goods to a place other than the place of performance, unless the shipment corresponds to the intended use of the goods.
All products are subject to an obligatory 6 month warranty period whereby it is the responsibility of Leisure Power ( operated by Battery Group Limited ) to assess, repair and/or replace the item should there be any manufacturing defects. Some products include further extensions on this 6 month and will be outlined on each product page. Please note the manufacturer's warranty is not a guarantee of lifespan. If you are a business purchasing this item, your rights differ from that of a consumer, and you would only be entitled to a 6 month warranty on all products.
There are specific applications whereby the warranty will be reduced - See below:

Batteries
The lifespan of a battery depends to a very large extent on its duration of use, the temperature and application for which it is intended. One of the most common causes of early battery failure is a state of insufficient charge. Over 80% of batteries fail due to insufficient charging.
Defects not covered by warranty & extended warranty (customer damage):
- Voltage less than 10.5v (battery fully discharged) will be automatically rejected (unless under 0.5V)
- Battery discharged, sulphated (alternator problem, electrical leakage, storage ...)
- Battery with electrolyte leaks, broken tank (dents, cracks, etc.)
- Broken or melted terminals, empty battery, or filled with a foreign liquid.
- Battery exploded, battery overcharged (charge or regulator problem)
- Failure to maintain the charge of the battery beyond a period of 2 years.
Defects covered by warranty & extended warranty (manufacturing defects):
- Battery with an internal short-circuit (voltage greater than 10.5v)
- Internal Break: - The battery will have good specific gravity but no voltage reading. Check for any physical damage which may have caused an internal break.
If, after checking, your battery has more than 80% of its original capacity, it will not be replaced under the warranty because it is considered perfectly functional. Your battery test must show the voltage over 12.2V and below 80% SOH to be accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: you will be required to provide a proof of purchase (invoice) for a claim to be initiated, if you do not have this information, we cannot proceed with a claim.
All Leisure or cyclic batteries will need to be returned to our testing facilities - no external tests will be accepted.

Exclusions and Limitations for all warranty claims including extended warranty
This warranty & extended warranty does not apply:
- Items purchased from unauthorized resellers;
- Non-quality related issues;
- Purchases without valid proof of purchase. Proof of purchase is namely the Invoice - Bank statements will not be accepted as it does not show the item you have purchased
- Items that have been refunded;
- Items that have expired their warranty period;
- Any defects or damages caused by misuse of products, unauthorized modification, disassembly, or operation not in accordance with the official instructions or manuals;
- Any defects or damages caused by exposure to excessive heat, liquids, or other external causes;
- Any defects or damages caused by reliability or compatibility issues when using unauthorized third-party parts;
- Lost or stolen products;
- Free products.
- Not able to provide valid proof of purchase
- Products that cannot be returned in its original packaging
