The AX 3.0kW-1ph is a hybrid inverter from a-Tronix. With a hybrid inverter, the electricity produced in the solar system can be temporarily stored. This ensures increased self-consumption of solar power. The Hybrid Inverter also allows for charging of batteries at a cheaper rate/tariff - such as off peak times.

The maximum output power of the inverter is 3,000W. The device is compatible with a photovoltaic system with a maximum size of 4.5kW. The maximum efficiency of the inverter is 97.1%. Under typical weather conditions in Europe, the hybrid inverter achieves a European efficiency of 95.26%.

The hybrid inverter contains 2 MPP trackers, which essentially allows for two strings of panels. There is a smart meter is already included within the box and does not need to be purchased separately.

Black start capability: Powered even in the event of a power failure

The inverter is capable of black start. In the event of a power failure, the phases or consumers connected to the backup power continue to be supplied with power from the PV system or the connected storage system. To enable the backup storage functionality, the 3kW Hybrid Inverter must be installed along side the a-Tronix AX Solar Storage Batteries.
