The Solis 5G 5.0kW Hybrid Inverter is a good choice for both on-grid PV operations and for secure back-up battery storage.

The Solis 5G 5.0kW Hybrid Inverter can be programmed into 3 operating modes, Solar Self-consumption, Timed Charge/Discharge and Back-Up mode for when the home loses power.

It is important to understand that this is a hybrid solar PV inverter and battery storage controller. This means it needs to be sized just like a regular inverter would be and, if it is being retrofitted, will replace the existing inverter.

Products affected - Solis EH1P range of Hybrid inverters Installation of 3ph Eastron meter on a 1ph supply for Solis EH1P inverters

We have recently become aware that Solis are supplying a 3ph (Eastron SDM630) meter inside the box with their latest 1ph EH1P hybrid inverters. The instructions in the manual show such a meter connected to a 3ph supply, however Solis have confirmed that this meter can be used in a 1ph installation.
The wiring guide and schematic supplements the manual for single phase installations.
