The NOCO NLP5 Group 5 Powersports Battery is a compact, high-performance 12.8V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) starter battery designed as a lightweight alternative to conventional lead-acid motorcycle and powersports batteries. Delivering 250A of peak starting power from a compact 2Ah battery, the NLP5 is engineered for motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, personal watercraft and other smaller powersports applications.

With a capacity of 2Ah / 25.6Wh and a 4.2Ah lead-acid equivalent rating, the NLP5 combines dependable engine-cranking performance with exceptionally low weight and long service life. Unlike conventional lead-acid batteries, it requires no acid, activation, water topping-up or routine maintenance. An integrated Dynamic Battery Management System (BMS) provides active protection against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, excessive current and extreme temperatures.
